Artist Statement

Each piece I create is meant to entrance your gaze. The magical shimmer and vivid color takes the soul hostage. It is the paramount reason I choose to work with glitter. I love the interplay of color and light and the infinite depth it creates. It is only this exchange that can bring my illustrations to life. The enchanted and magical image enframed can never be reproduced and therein lies the power, the mystery, and purpose of its truly personal experience.

I am a Glitter Artist creating interesting paintings that sparkle. Influenced by working in graphic design, animation, games, and film. I’ve exhibited in various galleries and art shows around the bay area. I earned a bachelors for Media Art and Animation from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco. My first solo gallery show “Sweets for the Sweet” was at Trickster in Berkeley. My work has been part of STUDIO Gallery SF, SF Bazaar Maker Faire, Alternative Press Expo, Gallery Nucleus, and Suite J-Town. I continue to search for opportunities to share unique art with others who value true originality.
