AAWAA ARTIST PROFILE
Shari Arai DeBoerShari is a painter and printmaker with a background in architecture. She is a close observer of plant life and everyday objects and uses them to evoke visual stories in her artwork. Currently she is illustrating the swords suit for a deck of tarot cards in which the traditional meaning of the cards are represented by scientific concepts. The deck combines science, art and mythology, "Science Tarot." |
