ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
A PLACE OF HER OWN is an arts healing residency and exhibition that invites women, to respond to the question, “If you had a place of your own, what would it be?” Over a series of workshops, Asian American women examine their beliefs and family patterns, while learning self-meditation techniques to create a place of their own. We you to this heartfelt show of our most recent workshop participants where our artists share their work and their stories from diverse cultural backgrounds and generations, working in visual and literary art to showcase their very personal responses in installations, written word, paintings, and printmaking media.
Admission is free and open to the public.
