For our 30th anniversary year, our theme is PEARLS IN THE FIRE!

We chose this theme because the pearl represents 30 years and has significance in mythologies across many Asian cultures. For us it symbolizes resilience because it begins as an irritant, a tiny grain of sand that over time and many layers forms a beautiful gem. Even in fire, pearls do not burn. And like the pearl, we are here and persistent in our pursuit as Asian American Women artists, unafraid to tackle anything that may limit us.
