After launching the first oral histories episode of Pass It On with AAWAA co-founders (and Bing contemporaries), Flo Oy Wong, Betty Kano and artist, Kim Anno, AAWAA prepares to release Episode 2, featuring Nancy Hom, Lenore Chinn and Lydia Nakashima Degarrod in March! Since 1989, AAWAA has produced over 50 exhibitions creating spaces and opportunities for AAPI women artists to showcase their work. Kicking off AAWAA's 35th anniversary celebrations, our next exhibition at SOMArts, Jade Wave Rising, will showcase AAPI women's power, agency and resilience that has been building up across generations.

Providing artists with the tools and opportunities to express themselves unfiltered cultivates confidence among AAPI women to create and tell their stories. 2 Language interpreters to make an AAWAA event more accessible

1 speaking engagement for AAWAA or artists
1 professional development workshop for artists
