Lydia Nakashima Degarrod

Lydia Nakashima Degarrod is a visual artist and cultural anthropologist who creates works that blur the line between art and anthropology. She has exhibited her work at galleries and museums in the United States and abroad. She has been an artist in residence at the de Young Museum of Art, Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Center for Art and Public Life, and Kala Art Institute.  She has been a Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Virginia, a Senior Fellow at Harvard University, and a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley.
